Olivia Clifton-Bligh is an award-winning figurative sculptor working in bronze, and also a printmaker specialising in woodcut and linocut techniques. Olivia studied at Goldsmiths’ College (BA.Hons Fine Art/Art History 1990-93). She exhibits her work in London and throughout the UK and is currently a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. In 2014 she won the Altea Wynne Bursary Award.
‘I am a narrative artist working in sculpture and printmaking. I foster an innate urge to anthropomorphise in the same way that fables use metaphor to reveal our humanness and reflect on our relationships. I look for a sense of movement and anticipation, narratively and visually.’
