Edward Willis

Overview

Edward Willis constructs three-dimensional sculptures in bronze as well as in steel, copper and brass. Elegant forms with sometimes bold colour, each piece is a study of 'dynamic equilibrium', carefully constructed from many parts. Having studied philosophy, he has been concentrating on his sculpture practice, having gained much inspiration from the work of artists such as Alexander Calder. Edward Willis's work is concerned with patterns in nature as well as tension, rhythm and balance.

Represented by David Simon Contemporary since 2017.
